1. Agreement to Terms

By submitting a booking reservation, completing an online transaction, or engaging our safari transport services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these terms in full, you should not proceed with a booking.

2. Safari Bookings and Rates

• Pricing Currency: Stated prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) or equivalent Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) according to the prevailing daily exchange rate.
• Included Services: Standard rates include private modified 4x4 safari vehicle hire, licensed chauffeur driver, fuel, hotel pickup/drop-off within the Udawalawe locality, and complimentary bottled water.
• Park Entrance Fees: Unless explicitly stated as an all-inclusive package, statutory entrance tickets levied by the Department of Wildlife Conservation (DWC) are payable separately at the official park counter.

3. Payment and Settlement Terms

We offer multiple secure settlement options:

• Online Payment: Supported via international Visa, Mastercard, and American Express through encrypted Central Bank approved acquiring facilities.
• Settlement on Arrival: In designated cases, cash settlements (USD or LKR) may be made directly to the designated safari coordinator prior to park entry.

4. National Park Regulations and Passenger Conduct

All passengers must strictly adhere to the Sri Lanka Fauna and Flora Protection Ordinance and Department of Wildlife Conservation guidelines:

• Passengers must remain seated inside the vehicle throughout the tour, except at designated Department of Wildlife rest areas.
• Feeding, harassing, calling, or making loud noises toward wildlife is strictly prohibited under Sri Lankan law.
• Littering, discarding plastics, or smoking within the national park boundaries is strictly forbidden.
• Chauffeurs are empowered by law to cease an excursion without refund if passenger behavior endangers vehicle safety or violates wildlife statutes.

5. Cancellation, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Cancellations submitted more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time qualify for a full refund. For complete terms governing cancellations, partial refunds, weather interruptions, or government park closures, please refer to our formal Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

While our chauffeurs uphold stringent safety protocols, wildlife safaris take place in outdoor wilderness environments. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Udawalawa Wild Safari shall not be liable for personal property damage, incidental losses, or unforeseen acts of nature beyond our direct operational control.
